Administrative Assistant – Operations Department - Plant Farley
This position will provide clerical support to the Operations Department at Plant Farley in Columbia, Alabama.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Job duties include scanning records, maintaining procedures, scheduling, timekeeping, filing, typing, maintaining managers’ calendars, and preparing expense statements. Additional duties include special projects, supporting regulatory requirements, and preparing reports. This position will also periodically fill in for other Administrative Assistants within the department and across the site. Administrative staff will support outage and regulatory needs as required.
Job Experience and Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two (2) years clerical experience required.
Five (5) years in a secretarial/administrative support role preferred.
Experience and good performance record in document and/or information management or customer service type capacity is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams).
Proficiency in using Adobe in scanning/retrieving quality records.
Proficiency in Visio software is desired.
Knowledge of an electronic timekeeping systems is desired.
Knowledge of nuclear work hour controls (PQ&S) is desired.
Knowledge of Documentum/WebTop is desired.
Experience with handling multiple priorities, high volume workload, working in a fast paced and team atmosphere.
Ability and desire to learn new computer software programs and apply them.
Other Requirements:
Qualifying on the SHL Clerical pre-employment test is required
If invited, candidate must also qualify on the Microsoft Office Skillcheck pre-employment test.
Required to support the Emergency Response Organization (ERO).
May be required to work night shift/12-hour shifts and/or OT during refueling outages and other times, as needed.
